Guidelines for new writers for Northern Ohio Live (PDF – 53KB) Internships Interns are asked to work at least 10 hours per week, at least three hours per day. Duties include regular administrative work, such as filing, research, fact checking and archiving. All interns are given the opportunity to write for the magazine; the objective of the internship is for each intern to leave with at least one published clip (usually more). Length and scope of writing assignments varies and depends on the opportunities at hand as well as the intern’s talent and enthusiasm for the work.
